Got this big boy, 36 1/2" early on first morning in New Mexico. Off range and by himself. Oryx (gemsbok) was on my bucket list. Used .270 Weatherby with Barnes bullets.

Last morning of Kansas hunt. 7:30 light frost on ground. Hunted five days. Shot at 180 yards and he dropped right there. .270 with Barnes 180 gr. Very small entry wound. No exit. All free range

Gary Whitbeck* I agree not a good pic, horns on one side they form a palm that you can't put ur fingers atound. It was a quick pic before guy took it off the wall. We got better ones. I also shot a 334 that is not near as big as this one
