TIPS & TRICKS FOR USING SOLAR PANELS

Your solar panel collects energy, but does not store it. In order to use it, connect it to a power station, or charge your devices directly with the cables attached to the panel.
Adjust your solar panel throughout the day for optimal sun exposure.
Don't forget that you can still use your panel on a cloudy day, it will just be less efficient.
Use ground stakes to secure your panel while you're away.

How quickly can my solar panel recharge my power station?

Two Nomad 400 solar panels can recharge one Yeti PRO 4000 in approximately one day of full sun.

What is the difference between the Nomads and other Goal Zero solar panels?

Nomad solar panels are our most portable option. They're extremely packable and sigificantly lighter than the Boulder solar panels with similar wattages.

Can I install the Nomad 400 permanently?

No. Although our Nomad panels are weatherproof, they are not designed for permanent installation. These panels are best for periodic use, which is why they were built to be portable and lightweight. When you're not using your Nomad panels, please store them in thier protective case.
