After we dropped our rangefinder for the hundredth time, we realized “we should make a bino/rangefinder case.” The result is the Bino XR Case, and it is AMAZING.

Excellent piece of equipment!
I bought the Bino XR to use in conjunction with the Badlands SuperDay pack. I used both on a Colorado elk hunt this month. It was a very useful and low profile addition to my gear. It held my binos and range finder very well. The moveable insert is great for using binos and non-integrated rangefinders and will allow it to hold integrated binos-range finders once I updgrade. In the past I have just used my day pack and stock bino strap while guiding for whitetails here in Texas. From now on I'm using the Bino XR. The Bino XR works well with the optional connectors that attach the XR to the shoulder straps of the Superday and other packs but I did not use that option during the elk hunt. That was purely just as a precaution if I needed to ditch the pack to move a little more quietly. The magnets in the flaps are plenty strong to keep the compartments closed but can snap closed fairly loudly if you aren't paying attention. Overall a great product that will get a lot of use from me. The side compartments are great for holding calls or wind puffers. I wouldn't mind if they were magnetic closures as well, though! After wearing the XR a few times it really just blends in with the rest of your gear as far as bulk goes. I drew on three bull elk with my bow and practiced shooting with it on and it did not hinder that process at all. The only time it was somewhat cumbersome was on horseback when going up steep inclines. The saddle horn would bump the bottom of the XR and cause it to shift around and just be somewhat annoying. There's not really a way I could think of to fix that other than cinch up your straps to the highest comfortable position on your chest. Great product!(My guide in Colorado also had one and raved about it!)
