Captain Clark Purvis grew up on the family farm in the wildlife rich area of Northeastern N.C. He is the Great grandson of famous early 19th century waterfowl guide, Captain WL Bailey. His father, Tim Purvis owned and managed several gun clubs where Clark began guiding hunters at an early age. At Eighteen, Clark completed his USCG Captains License and started taking fishing and hunting charters. After graduating from East Carolina University, Clark started charter fishing with Captain Buddy Hooper on the Hatteras Fever and guided for Hatteras Island Waterfowl during the winter.
