Anyone having issues with Barnes LRX bullets? I guided shots on 4 animals this week and had to track 3 of the 4 despite solid shots in what should have been quick kills. The elk hits had to be tracked over 5 miles each and the deer a half a mile. The hunters had a 300 Win Mag with 190 grain LRX bullets. *I prefer the accubond rounds as they seem to hold together and provide more energy on impact. LRX bullets are accurate but even with a very accurate shot they may not do enough damage to bring down a large animal quickly. I think the all copper bullet might be the issue as other Barnes rounds have been fine, just the new LRX ones raised a major issue for me on 4 animals in one week.
