A day pack is good for bear hunts. An internal frame big enough to carry gear (Sitka gear or Kelty 4500 cubic inch or similar) would be good for mountain goat, elk, and deer hunts.
The lighter, camera and dry bag for your electronics are for all hunts. The hiking poles are for mountain goat, elk, and deer hunts.
I recommend light-layered breathable clothing for all of our hunts.
Rubberized Rain Gear: Helly Hanson, KUIU, or Sitka downpour for all hunts.
The Kenetrek Boots and gators (Mountain Research or Kenetrek knee-high) are for mountain goat, elk, and deer hunts. The good dry tech socks and slippers/ house shoes for the cabin on board the vessel are for all hunts.
The hat and gloves are for all hunts, while the working gloves are for mountain goat hunts only. This is because salmon bushes can have spines so work gloves for climbing are recommended. Master Mechanic gloves work great.
I recommend chest waders with boots that go over the top of them. Boots need to have rubber soles. These are for bear hunts only.
30 caliber or better. A 7MM is also adequate.
**Note: It's important to bring a rifle that you can carry up the mountain. Most shots are 300- 350 yards so a lightweight easy-to pack gun is sufficient. (NOT A 13 POUND LONG RANGE GUN). I recommend bringing two full boxed of bullets along as well.
