I use my optics 365 days a year. They get dropped down mountains and into puddles and I need them to perform day in and day out. I generally run Vortex and Maven products for their warranty. I have found Maven products to generally have better glass but far and away Vortex products are the most indestructible in my eyes. The below products have performed admirably for me but I am not much of an optics snob so I generally reach for more cost effective options that will work in an array of scenarios.
Versatility is the name of the game. I have used my kit from everything from tree stand hunting to back packing on the Pacific Coast and everything in between.
Generally things in the category either work or they don't. Phelps makes the best quality game calls, hands down, excellent fit and responsive reeds. Lone wolf sticks are not the lightest on the market but they are basically indestructible. If a decoy is going to work the below options are excellent.
I started developing this sleep system in college. I run a backpacking and a car camping version.
My hands and feet get cold. These have been some great options to help keep me in the field longer.
