Wyoming Mid-Late Rifle Season: Elk, Big Horn Sheep, Mule Deer, MNT Goat

In Wyoming, if you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes- that's our saying. The only constant weather pattern is wind. Having lived in Wyoming my entire life, I have grown up in the mountains here. I spent most of my youth toughing it out in Carhartt and swap meet brand x camo with Walmart packs. Through the years I have been my experiences and the onset of better gear has led me to a what works set up. I have the same pack set up for most of the year with the exception of dropping my spotter and tripod out for late-season cow elk. I guided off and on for about 18 years now (2022) and spend a few weeks professionally taking big horn sheep and mountain goat hunts every year and then spend the rest of the season hunting for myself or helping friends fill their tags in Wyoming's backcountry.
