Kamchatka Snow Sheep Hunt Of the 5 sub-species of snow sheep, the Kamchatka rams have the most stable populations, largest body size, longest horn length as well as the most massive horns. They also inhabit the same areas as the largest brown bears and best salmon fishing.
Magadan/Coastal Region Sheep Hunt There are three subspecies of snow sheep (Ovis nivicola) in the Magadan region--Okhotsk, Yakutia, and Kolyma snow sheep.
