Description
Since completion of the big Bull Shoals Dam in 1951, the Arkansas White River has developed into one of the most famous trout fisheries in the United States. Limit catches of rainbow, brown, and cutthroat trout are common-place throughout most of the year. The size trout can grow to in these cold, clear waters is truly amazing, as the many records the White River has produced attest.
The water in the White River below Bull Shoals Dam is so frigid that even during the warmest summer months one can remain comfortably seated in a chair and feel a nice cool breeze coming off the water. As far as we know, there is no other fishery in the U.S. where you can take a continuous 4-day float trip and fish for rainbow, brown, and cutthroat trout each day. As a convenience to our patrons, we stock all types of lures on which these fish are caught. Our experienced guides are always ready to recommend the baits, lures, or flies most likely to be effective at the time of your visit.

Prices include bait (but not lures), tackle, and taxes. Price also includes a lunch of fried chicken or sub sandwich on all full day trips.
Terms & Conditions
The fishing season is open all year on all Arkansas White River game fish species. However, because of weather conditions, we outfit overnight and day trips starting March 1, to around November 1.
We like for you to make your reservations as far in advance as possible. We can take care of you better if we know your wishes well in advance of your arrival. In making reservations always let us know how many persons will be in your party, the number of days you wish to float, and whether you want to camp out, take single day trips, or have a scenic tour of the White River. If you have been here before, and prefer the services of a certain guide, ask for him and he will be assigned to you if possible. Such requests always encourage the guides, and we are glad to give you their service. A deposit of half the amount of your booked trip is required to confirm your reservation. Your deposit will be happily be refunded with a 14-day notice of cancellation. If it is less than 5 days till we will need to charge full price. This is to protect our guides from other trips that they have turned down.
