Covering 32,000 acres (13,000 hectares) Cawston Block is a superb leopard, sable and plains game safari area – a piece of African paradise. It is perfect for families, groups, first time and experienced hunters. All our animals are hunted 'free and fair chase'. Bow hunters may hunt at waterholes or may try their skill at 'spot and stalk' hunting. Rifle hunters are encouraged to go out on foot and participate in the joy of the stalk.
The following animals may be hunted on Cawston Block:
Leopard, Sable, Eland, Kudu, Zebra, Wildebeeste, Giraffe, Impala, Warthog, Duiker, Steenbok, Honey Badger, Tsessebe, Bushbuck Chobe, Bushpig, Porcupine, Monkey and a host of small cats.
We hunt two leopard a year on Cawston Block and have a high success rate in big male leopards both with bow and rifle. We can also arrange dangerous game hunts with other outfitters within a half day drive of us.
