Hunting feral pigs in Australia is almost a national past time. Pig numbers are prolific across the top end of Australia. As with all animal populations the density varies from area to area and their favourite habitat is the costal floodplain areas. Living here is easy and the average boar is between 80-100kg (200-220lbs). The biggest hog taken in 2010 was 160kg (350lb).
