Description

Cliff & Cactus Outfitters offers hunters an authentic and exciting mountain hunting experience in far west Texas. Since Aoudad were introduced into Texas in the 1950's, they have flourished throughout many ranges in the territory. However, not all aoudad hunts are created equal. lt is important to choose the right outfitter. We bring years of global hunting experience to west Texas where we work with multiple large private ranches with a focus on quality over quantity. You only get one shot at the hunt of a lifetime.

What to Expect

▪ Experience: Hunt with someone who cares. No doubt we all want to bring back a giant. But if this were the only measure of our experience then we're missing the point. The stories, the memories, the people you meet are what really makes the adventure special. We can't control the weather or the animals but at the end of your trip you will be warm and well fed with a story to tell. ▪ Diverse: Several private ranches covering over 600,000 acres, each one with unique assets that can accommodate different expectations and hunting methods, offering many options to fit your needs. ▪ Herd Quality: We focus on finding older age class rams, ensuring our success year after year.

Weapon Details

Rifle with Bipod (30 caliber and up) - We don't have a huge preference on rifle make or model, but its critical that you trust your rifle, trust your optic and have had put the time into knowing your DOPE.

We do our best to get you into sub 350 yard rang for shots. However please practice shooting to at least 600 yards if only to gain that perspective and become more familiar with your rifle. If possible practice shooting in the prone position and at different angles.
