Description

2x1 fully guided elk hunts on the western slope of colorado. Our hunts cover an expanse of thick cover between 8000 ft up to 10500 feet. Group pricing available. We limit pir hunts to no more than 2 groups per hunt. Regarless of size 1x1 is available.

What to Expect

Off grid cabin style camping with generator power, private rooms and indoor plumbing. Meals are included in our hunts. We start the day with a short truck ride and walk out to pur hunting areas from there. Sometimes covering several miles per day with options to stay close for rest days of desired.

Gear & Equipment

All food, bedding and accommodations are covered in the hunt cost. We have towels and pillows avaialble as well, however most decide to bring there own for a more at home feel with better sleep. A day pack with water bladder, flash light, warm clothes and binoculars are all needed. A comfortable pair of hiking shoes and lounge shoes are a necessity. No lights are allowed scopes or archery equiptment and fixed blade broadheads are recommended.

Pricing Details

2x1 cow only hunts start at $3500 and up to fully guided 1x1 for $5500. We host a 5 day hunt in furnished cabins. Knowledgeable guides work to provide the true elk hunt hunting experiance.

Physical Requirements

Our hunts cover miles of hiking per day over uneven terrain. Steep climbs and physical readyness for long days on foot should be expected. We do have closer hunting available for rest days if needed.

Permit & Tag Application Process

We hunt unit 421 and elk archery, 2nd rifle and 3rd rifle are all over the counter tags. 1st rifle season is a draw only with a very good chance of getting with 0 preferance points. Only 2 hunters of ours out of the last 3 years has not drawn with 0 points.

Bear is over the counter or all seasons.

Mule deer will take usually 1 point for any season except 3rd rifle where 2 may be needed.

Moose is draw only for this unit.
