Consistent, cold water flows hold brooktrout and landlocked salmon all summer long. While prime time is late spring and early summer, salmon hold in the West Branch through July, August and September. The salmon here average 12-16 inches, with some lunkers growing beyond 26 inches. Accessibility

This area is unimproved shore line. Participants should be prepared step into and out of the boat on uneven ground.

Physical Requirements

Participants should be able to balance in a seat for an extended period of time, and cast.
