What to Expect

Western Kansas controlled shooting area pheasant and quail hunting on 1000 acres of rolling hills surrounding a 65 acre reservoir fully stocked with bass, catfish, perch, and blue gill. Hunt includes lodging in brand new log cabins with newly renovated lodge area for relaxing. You will arrive the evening before your hunt and stay in a fully furnished log cabin. The next morning is spent behind our dogs pointing pheasants and quail throughout the property. In the afternoon, you can choose your favorite spot on one of our five fully stocked reservoirs. Skeet shooting add-ons and additional nights lodging available. We are the exclusive outfitter of Fossil Rock Ranch.

Pricing Details

o Half Day Upland Hunt and Half Day Fishing on Private Reservoirs o $500.00 per gun; minimum 4 guns (e.g. $2000 minimum). Discount available for groups over 8 people. o Children under 14 are $250.00 each. o Meals: 3 meals on day of hunt and non-alcoholic beverages included. o 5 Pheasants per adult hunter released (minimum 20 birds). o Or 15 quail per hunter released. o Additional birds released: Pheasant $20 each; Quail $8 each. o Fishing, bait, and tackle provided. o Lodging included- arrive at 7:00 p.m. the day before your hunt.

Terms & Conditions

This is a fishing and hunting trip. We control the property but we do not control the weather. If there is extreme weather, we reserve the right to cancel the hunt for your safety and the safety of our dogs. We will work with you to reschedule your hunt in the event that weather requires a cancellation.

50% non-refundable deposit due at booking to hold dates. 100% due within 7 days of your hunt. If you are unable to make your dates, we will move your deposit to a new open date.

Gratuities: Customary to tip the guides, but not required.

Camp/Accommodations

This hunt is hosted at Fossil Rock Ranch and includes new (2023) log cabin lodging. The lodge area is fully equipped for relaxing with televisions, fiber optic internet, pool tables, couches, bar area, bathroom and shower facilities.

Physical Requirements

This hunt requires walking behind our German short haired pointers to find pheasants and quail on our sprawling ranch. If you are unable to walk the distances, we have Polaris Rangers available to keep you in the action. The fishing portion is on the shores of reservoirs with easy access for vehicles to all of the best fishing holes. Please let us know your needs prior to booking and we will cater a plan for you.
