If you are a serious Bowhunter consider hunting with us at Peak Outfitters. Pronghorn with a bow can be one of the most challenging hunts you can do in our experience. But also the most rewarding!

We offer a 4.5 day hunt with 4 nights of lodging. All meals, guide, transportation to and from the field, and trophy care are included. All you need to do is buy your license and tag, and get here!

Hunts are conducted on tens of thousands of acres of private land in eastern Colorado.

From experience we have found that patterning mature bucks on water sources is the best method for success. This style of hunting makes for a few long days in the blind but usually leads to great results.

What to Expect

A typical hunt will involve an early wake up. Breakfast burrito and hitting the road before light. Sits can be long and hot but we provide a small ice chest for your drinks, lunch, and a cold rag to keep you cool.

Pronghorn need to drink every 24 hours so we try to pattern mature bucks and only hunt water holes they have been consistently drinking from.

We ask hunters be proficient out to 50-55 yards. We typically put blinds 30-50 yards away from a water source but shots can be further depending on the situation.

Your guide will be scouting while you hunt and nearby if you need anything but you will be in your blind alone.

• Bow (crossbows are illegal in Colorado unless you have a special permit for a disability)
• hunting licenses and OTC tag
• dark camo or black clothes
• a good pair of hiking boots

Payment Information

• Hunt Packages are non-refundable
• Packages booked within 15 days of the hunt must be paid fully at the time of booking
• No credit cards. Cash and checks only

Cancellation Policy

• No rain checks unless schedule permits
• Cancelled hunts are not refunded, but a replacement may be found

Gratuities

• Customary, but not required
• Guides: 15-20% of the hunt price
• Cook: $50 per guest

Camp/Accommodations

Camp is a nice Home in a town close to where we will be hunting. Water, Coffee and all meals will be provided. If you'd like to bring anything to drink besides coffee and water feel free! All meals are provided!

Accessibility

Hunts will Primarily be conducted out of a blind.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to walk up to a half mile to a blind and possibly more if a stalk is required.
