All that you need to bring is your personal and hunting gear, including a sleeping bag and pillow. Food and drinks are provided during your hunt, but bring your choice of adult beverages. Multiple wall tents will be provided one for cooking and eating, with several others for sleeping which are equipped with cots, pads, table, and heat if needed. Meals will be prepared in a large cook tent or outside on a large stove, barbecue or smoker. Your harvest will be cleaned, skinned, quartered, and transported to a locker. Bring a large ice chest to take the meat home. A typical day begins early and can run into late evening. We most often stay out all day maximizing the time in the field. The day starts out driving the Honda Pioneer 1000-5 to a location, then hiking to a designated glassing spot. Be prepared for long hikes and glassing sessions. Typically this will be a spot and stock hunt in open country. Safety is the most important aspect of the hunt along with learning and having a great time. Camaraderie in the field and camp is a given.

California tag application deadline is June 2. 1) X5b tag - 2024 deer tag drawing statistics showed that at least 18.5 preference points were needed for a 100% chance of drawing a tag. Had a 38% chance of drawing a tag with 18 preference points. Had a less then 1% chance of drawing a tag with 17.5 or less preference points for the 5 random tags. 2) 2024 Pronghorn Antelope tag drawing statistics Zone 4 Period 1- Needed max preference points (22) for a 32% chance of drawing a tag. A less than 1% chance to draw a random tag. Period 2 - Both max preference points (22) and 21.5 preference point were 100% draw odds. 21 preference points were 10.6% draw odds. Random tag draw odds were less than 1%.
