Come hunt with us and experience why New Brunswick is known for producing big, mature bears and lifelong memories.
Hunt on well-established bait sites that are carefully managed and monitored, with multiple bears visiting regularly, giving you the best opportunity to harvest mature boars. You'll enjoy a safe, professional, and guided experience with attentive, knowledgeable guides who know the terrain and bear behavior. Expect short walks to stands, the thrill of spotting bears up close, and hunting in some of New Brunswick's most productive black bear country.
For hunters seeking a true challenge, you could be the next to join our Half Moon 300 Class, which tracks all bears harvested over 300 pounds in our territory. Being on the board is a badge of honor, highlighting both your skill and the quality of our hunts. Over the first two seasons, multiple hunters have already harvested trophy-class boars, and our guides provide all the support and strategy to help you maximize your opportunity.
Hunters are responsible for bringing their own firearm or bow, optics, ammunition/bolts, and weather-appropriate clothing. June temperatures can vary, so pack layers, rain gear, and quality boots. We supply all hunting infrastructure, including stands, ground blinds (when required), bait, game recovery, and transportation to and from the site.
Rifles, bows, and crossbows are all welcome at Half Moon Outfitters. U.S. hunters travelling with firearms must complete the Canadian Non-Resident Firearm Declaration Form before entering Canada. We will provide the required form ahead of your arrival and guide you through the process to ensure everything is filled out properly. This makes the border crossing quick and simple for you.
