Description

Fully guided elk hunts in the back country of Idaho by horseback. We have 500 private acres that are surrounded by natioanl forest and is only accessible by horse back or foot. This makes this area with very little hunting pressure. We harvest only 5×5 bulls or better out of this camp. Guide ratio is 1 guide to 2 hunters. Gourmet meals in camp with fresh pies made daily right out of the 1890′s wood cook stove. Our actual harvest on branch antlered bull is over 50% at the Gilmore Ranch. Which is better than double the average success. Expecting 50% harvest is realistic. Every year bulls between 350 and 400 B&C are harvested or seen in the area.

Pricing Details

• Spring and Fall bear hunts (Any Weapon). Back Country Trophy Hunts, $3,200 per hunter. Lodge Bait Hunts $2,500 per hunter Spring Season April 15th to June 30th. Hound Bear Hunts also available for $3,500 per person.

• Fall Archery Elk Hunts
  August 30th to September 31st. Hunts are back country or out of our lodges. $3,500 per hunter, 2 hunters with 1 guide

• Rifle Elk Hunts Oct 10th- October 24th. $5,200, 1 hunter with 1 guide. $4,500, 2 hunters with 1 guide

• Drop Camp Archery or Rifle season
  This is a combination hunt for elk, deer, bear, and wolf. $2,000 per hunter for camp only. $2,300 per hunter for drop camp with wrangler and horses. $2,800 per hunter for drop camp with wrangler and horses, cook and food. (Need 4 hunters minimum for drop camp).

• Fall Whitetail Hunting Season November 5th – November 21st. $2,500.00 per hunter for Back country or Lodge Hunt

• Idaho Mountain Lion Season December through March. Lodge Hunt $5,500.00 Combination Mt Lion and Wolf Hunts Season December through March Lodge Hunt, $6,500.00 per hunter
