Idaho hunting outfitters and guides for Elk, Mule Deer, Mountain Lion (Cougar) and Black Bear.

Sawtooth Wilderness Outfitters offers rifle, muzzleloader, hand gun and bow hunting. We have an early archery hunting season, a general rifle and a late muzzleloader hunt for deer and elk. Mountain lion and black bear can be hunted with the weapon of your choice. Guided hunts for black bear and mountain lion. Drop camps for trophy mule deer and elk hunting.

We are a full time family owned operation offering a professional and personalized outfitter and guide service. We are the exclusive outfitter for several hundred square miles of prime hunting country in central Idaho. We have been guiding clients for the past 39 years and this is our 27th year of operation in the Sawtooth Wilderness. We are located approximately 100 miles North, East of Boise, Idaho and operate in Fish and Game Units 35, 36, and 39.

Pricing Details

Archery Drop Camps (All prices are per person) August 30th - September 30th. 8 day hunts. Dates available throughout the season. 2 to 4 hunters per camp or arrangements can be made for larger groups. Elk, Deer, or Bear $2,200.00

Rifle Mule Deer Drop Camps (All prices are per person) October 10th - 31st. 8 day hunts. Dates available through out the season. 2 to 4 hunters per camp. Arrangements can be made for larger groups. $2,200.00

Rifle Elk and Combination Drop Camps (All prices are per person) 2 to 4 hunters per camp or arrangements can be made for larger groups.

Rifle Elk, Deer or Bear 8 day hunts. Oct. 13-20 & Oct. 14-21 $2,500.00 8 day hunts. Oct. 23-30 & Oct. 24-31 $2,200.00

Rifle Elk 8 day hunts. Nov. 1-8 & Nov. 2-9 $2,000.00

Muzzleloader Elk or Deer Drop Camps (All prices are per person) November 10th - 24th. Dates available throughout the season. 2 to 4 hunters per camp. Arrangements can be made for larger groups. Deer, 8 days $2,200.00 Elk, 8 days $2,200.00 Elk and Deer Combination 8 days $2,500.00

Guided Bear Hunts (April 15th - June 30th. August 30th - October 31st. 5 day hunts) Baited Hunts $2,500.00 Hounds and Bait $3,500.00

Guided Mountain Lion Hunts (December 1st - March 31st) 7 Day Guided 1 on 1 Hunt $5,200.00

Mountain Lion And Bobcat (December 15 -February 15) 7 Day Guided 1 on 1 Hunt $6,200.00

Terms & Conditions

Sawtooth Wilderness Outfitters does not have control of weather conditions, natural disasters, your personal emergencies or other unforseen incidents and makes no refunds. Trip cancellation insurance from your local insurance provider is recommended.

											               A 40% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your hunt and                dates.  Cashier's                check, money order, personal check, Visa or Master Card are all                accepted.  The balance is due 30 days before your hunt begins.  In addition to the base price, Idaho also requires a 6% sales tax.
											Gratuities                are not mandatory, however, it is customary to tip your guide, packer                and cook if you feel they did a good job for you.
