Description

Near Gettysburg, South Dakota, the Brown family farms around 100,000 private acres of corn, sunflower, wheat surrounded by rolling prairie grasses. The large herds of massive whitetail and mule deer, too many to count, greatly benefit from the sunflower and corn fields and the shelter in the river bottoms, coulees, wind breaks, draws and sloughs.

Here at Browns Hunting Ranch, we hunt the Merriam turkey. The Moreau River is home to large flocks of turkey, where we hunt both river bottoms and field edges.

Relive the days of wild buffalo herds roaming the prairie here with us in SD. Hunt buffalo on 50,000 acres of rolling hills and native prairie, its a step back in time.

Pricing Details

Bison Hunts:

Large Trophy Bulls (1500lb to 2000lb): $5,500.00 Younger Trophy Bulls (1200lb to 1500lb): $4,000.00 Cows (800lb to 1200lb): $3,000.00

Additional Costs If you want the meat cut and wrapped, we need to know this prior to your arrival so arrangements can be made for it to be processed in either Pierre or Onida, South Dakota. Shoulder head mount or hide tanned or dressed. Non-hunters rate is $300.00 per day.

Turkey Hunts (3 night / 2 day)

One Hunter $1000.00, additional days are $500.00 per day. South Dakota sales tax and 2014 turkey license fee ($100) not included
