We believe we offer whitetail hunters an incredible opportunity to hunt Montana whitetail. Our guided whitetail hunts are offered in one of two seasons, and we have several options to hunt whitetail in Montana. Whitetail hunting in the mountains of Montana is often done differently than whitetail hunting in the Midwest or south. In Montana whitetails can be either mountain whitetails or plains whitetails. Swan Mountain Outfitters specializes in mountain whitetails. We hunt public land exclusively, and you will find that the vast majority of public land record book trophy whitetails in the state are taken from the Flathead National Forest in Northwest Montana. We offer guided archery whitetail hunts as well as guided whitetail hunts with a rifle. This is also a great first hunt for youth hunters.

• 2026 Son or Daughter Price (25 years or younger): $2375

Deposit: $1000

Terms & Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of $1000 is required upon reserving.  A secondary non-refundable deposit of $2000 is due in March.  Remaining balance is due June 1st.

Camp/Accommodations

Wall tents with woodstove, cots with mattress, electrical outlet. Camp cook on site prepares all meals. Drive right into camp. WiFi available.

Physical Requirements

We use horses to access hunting areas.

Permit & Tag Application Process

Tags go to a draw on April 1st each year. We submit license applications on behalf of our booked hunters. Preference point purchase will greatly increase odds of drawing a tag.
