Reflective Lifeline
This was taken from a iPhone 12 with flash; which brightens everything up including the sky. So while the sky looks like it's around dusk; this photo was taken about 15 mins after legal shooting time ended. The lifeline is extremely bright with a flashlight, headlamp, etc etc etc. This is also the first year I have used them-so I am unsure of the longevity of the reflective material embedded in the line. The knot that came tied is very easy to move up and down with one hand; yet latches down as needed without it. This is 15' or 16' stand to the base. I had more than enough to tie up above the back rail and down to the bottom of the stand. Even throughout several rainstorms, snow, and ice… It still performed like it was new, whether wet or dry. I own 3, and will buy more as needed.
Decent hoist
So I bought this product after having another hoist that I always had to fold up, because it was always getting tangled and I just got sick of dealing with it. So there's no problem with anything getting tangled and reeling it back in is fast and quiet. However, to me the material that is the actual hoist concerns me from how thin it is. It just doesn't seem very strong. I only used this hoist for Archery since I didn't and wasn't going to try it out using this hoist to pull up my rifle or shotgun. Most times I get up into my stand and then pull up my bag which is holding my weapon of choice as well and to me my bag and rifle or shotgun would just be to heavy for this very thin webbing that is used.
