Want to support the new president and get a chance to hunt? Well, look no further. Donald Trump’s sons, Donald Trump, Jr. and Eric Trump, have an interesting fundraiser in mind: they are offering a multi-day hunting and fishing trip for four guests, dubbed “Opening Day,” for a mere $1 million. The unique fundraiser was announced last week and includes not only the hunting excursion, but a photo opportunity with President-Elect Trump and autographed guitars from Opening Day performers.
The event, which will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., will include performers Toby Keith, Alabama and “other ‘surprise entertainers’,” according to the Daily Mail. The dress code? Camo and cufflinks.
While it seems expensive, the fundraiser, which is in honor of President-Elect Trump and kicks off on his first full day in the office, will raise funds for not-yet-named conservation charities. If $1 million is too much, there are other packages to choose from – each with its own wildlife-themed name. Here the full descriptions of each package, according to the Daily Mail:
Both sons are long time hunters and have promoted their love of hunting even throughout the presidential campaign. While some may not support their choice, the Trumps have defended their hobby, most notably by sharing where they donate the meat from their big game hunts.
