Spring 2018 has not felt much like spring here in SW Michigan! As of today, 4/15/18, we are being hit by a winter storm. The colder than normal water temps this spring have prolonged our Michigan steelhead run. Steelhead fishing should remain productive into May. Recently we have been catching a mix of chrome, dark and dropback fish. The size of the fish this year remains very impressive. This April winter storm has elevated our river levels which hopefully will bring in a push of fresh fish from Lk Michigan.
