The Choctaw Hunting Lodge welcomes you to our exclusive hunting grounds, situated on 44,000 privately-owned acres in remote southeastern Oklahoma - one of the largest contiguous hunting properties in the central US. Wild native deer herd management within a working cattle operation is the focus on the western section, while intense trophy deer production is the primary emphasis at our Reserve Management Area on the eastern portion. The programs in both areas are directed by a professional deer biologist who has a track record of
growing big bucks.
Hunts are conducted from comfortable blinds that accommodate archery or firearms hunters.
All hunts are guided by Choctaw staff and will include weapon sight-in with appropriate safety/firearms handling orientation. Your guide will also assist in tracking, recovery and field dressing of harvested deer.
Our comfortable 7-bedroom lodge is centrally-located on the property. Travel to and from our lodge is your responsibility, but we provide all transportation from lodge to blind sites. Fishing, target shooting, and limited wild hog hunting are also available between deer hunts, with notice.
Pictures, scoring, aging and all other harvest data will be recorded upon completion of your hunt.
