Looking at getting a new gun should I go either .270 or the 6.5 Creedmoor?

David Trujillo 6.5 with a 143 grain eld-x bullet will take down just about any North American game. Like already mentioned very light recoil makes for better shot placement, which is first and foremost on any ethical kill.

Kevin Miller 6.5 is the best.

john.geiger Figuring you're after light-skinned animals with a bolt gun, you can't go wrong. Both are accurate and are widely available. But each as pros-cons, such as, the 6.5 has lighter recoil, is less susceptible to drift and is short-action. But you generally get more energy down-range with a .270 and less drop, all things equal. I wish Jack O'Connor were still around to wade into this thread!
