We constructed our Tongass Jacket with an industry leading 3 layer 100% waterproof breathable fabric. We added waterproof zippers throughout to ensure water cannot get through to your core. Every pocket is designed to give you easy access while wearing your upland strap vest. The two zippered chest pockets double as a core venting system that replaces the need for pit vents that often gape open and can easily get caught on brush. The two zippered hand pockets are set high enough to clear the top of your vest’s waist belt. The hood is fully integrated and adjustable to give you added protection from rain when needed. We also gave the jacket a generous but not oversized length to ensure that it does not ride up while wearing an upland vest.
