Today was one of the last weekends to duck hunt here in the north east, we stumbled upon some submerged cork and burlap decoys and a sunken Jon boat (that we pulled out of the water) in a marsh. Very cool way to start to bring the season to a close. What's the weirdest thing you found while duck hunting?
I've been looking forward to the day I could take my son to shoot a shotgun. We managed to find him a youth .410 that fit him perfectly. He loved every second of shooting and we got 12 rounds out of him before he had enough.
Did my first layout boat hunt with my roommate from deployment, we limited out in a couple of hours and fulfilled a goal to go hunting after deployment, it just took us 9 years to accomplish the goal.
