The case holds everything nicely. You set it up and I can tell this thing will be handy. The jaws that clamp the knife have a rubber pad on them so the knife is secure. The magnetic swivel is superior to the Lansky system I've used in the past because there's less play in the rod. I was able to use the coarse grit to break the edge and tip contour to the angle of the sharpener quickly. Walked my way up to the ceramic and leather strop. I've always wanted to sharpen knives well myself but couldn't hold the angle well on a wet stone I always messed my knives up. I have confidence that I can sharpen anything I own now. It's worth the money and it's made very well.
