Kept the moisture out as advertised

I began looking for dry bags to use in the field that would mainly keep blood off of my backpack and to protect my game meat from dirt and debris. I researched the variety of Dry Bags available through Guidefitter and settled on the ALPS Mountaineering brand, 35 Liter.

I first place the game meat or quarters inside game bags (I use Badlands game bags) and then placed them inside the ALPS Mountaineering 35 Liter Dry Bag (see the lower left portion of my backpack for a partial picture of the ALPS Mountaineering 35 Liter Dry Bag in use). This process worked wonderfully and completely prevented blood from soaking through to my backpack.

I know there are hunters out there who have experienced the same issue as me with blood soaking through game bags and onto their backpacks and are looking for a preventable solution (because you cannot just simply throw your backpack into a washing machine). I believe the ALPS Moutaineering Dry Bags provide that solution.

I utilized the ALPS Mountaineering 35 Liter Dry Bag (3) three times this year to haul out game meat and each time they worked as designed and advertised by keeping my backpack dry. These bags have definately exceeded my expectations.

They are constructed of heavy duty materials and can more than handle the job. I hand wash them with soap and water after each use and they are good to go for the next adventure. I would highly recommend the ALPS Moutaineering Dry Bags.
