The 1st most important tool at your disposal is your brain. The 2nd by far is onX Hunt for your phone/tablet or compatible GPS unit if you still use one. This tool helps you scout all year, all season and is indispensable for knowing what ground you are standing on. It is basic in nature/design but still not intuitive for me. I've had to take several classes to make the best use of it. Excellent customer service on their part so far. It definitely has a learning curve so practice early and often before you rely on it for an expensive out of state hunt. DO NOT rely solely on this as your navigational tool. Have back up USGS maps, a quality compass AND THE SKILL TO USE THEM. Don't be that guy that needs to be rescued because such services do charge these days and it isn't cheep. Cheers.
