First tried Kennetrek Mtn Extreme and after 80 miles of "break-in" just couldn't get comfortable, even with aftermarket insoles. After several discussions and emails with customer service at Guidefitter and Crispi, I ordered the Nevadas. When I slipped them on out of the box I immediately noticed a difference in how they felt and really found no "break-in" seemed necessary. The quality seems to be on par with the Kennetreks but the Crispis just like my foot better. Looking at picking up a pair of the Wildrock GTXs or the Guides now.
