Freaking Solid

The SnapSafe Premium Vault door is the ultimate choice if you want to secure a room or area with valuables. The door came well packaged in a crate style wooden box that was easy to move around. I watched the installation instructions before the door arrived and prepped the rough door opening the way it explained which made the install extremely easy. It comes with all of the tools you need to install it except for a drill for the pilot holes. Since I installed my door directly into concrete, I substituted the lag bolts for Tapcon screws which means this is now a permanent fixture unless you get to the screws. Programming the door is easy and the door swings smoothly open and closed. The handle on the inside of the door allows me to exit without any problems if I want to be inside with it secured. I really like the finish on the door and it fit exactly as it said it would. After prepping the door frame, it only took maybe 10 minutes to install it, even though I was drilling into concrete.

The only thing I am going to add is a very thin strip of weatherstripping so when the door closes, it doesn't make the metal on metal sound. The only issue I had was using a hammer drill for the Tapcons. The hammer drill head would rub against the door frame and scratched the frame where I was drilling but the scratches were very small and you probably would never see them unless I pointed them out.

Overall a great experience purchasing and installing this door. I would recommend this door every time.
