I bought these Crispi Wyoming II boots to replace a pair of Salewa hunting boots that I bought in Germany and have had for years. I was a little hesitant to replace my tried and true boots but I could not be happier I pulled the trigger.
I wore them inside for a few days and then started the normal break in period and realized that it is not required with these boots. The Wyomings were comfortable right out of the box. I wore them for about 10 miles on a local trail and then took them to NC for another 10 miles just to make sure. I am sure. They are ready for Idaho this October.
On August 15th (yep August 15th) I wore them on opening day of white tail season here in SC. It was probably pushing 95° and my feet were fine. I probably should have worn flip flops but wanted to wear the Crispi's. I have no doubt these boots and the right socks would keep my feet warm in moderate cold and are perfectly fine for warm or hot weather.
The boots have the perfect stiffness and support for carrying a pretty heavy pack and are perfectly suited for light or no pack.
I ordered true to size and they fit like a glove.
