I've had my Woodwind for nearly two months now and have had the opportunity to use it in a variety of ways. First off, the construction is adequate (it is not overbuilt, but it is also not cheaply made). The wifi function is awesome - I opted for this model so I could monitor cooks from afar and it does pretty well. My only gripe thus far is the range of the wifi seems to be about 25 feet from the router. Keep this in mind when you decide where you are going to put the grill. I have smoked chicken, ribs, pork butt, salmon and brisket thus far. All of them have come out very good. I've used a few different kinds of pellets and they do have distinct flavors which is cool. I've grilled pork chops, steaks, london broil, burgers and lamb chops. All of them are very good. I have been using a Kokomo 75000 btu natural gas grill for the last several years so the cooking on a pellet grill is vastly different. The searing is obviously not the same, but that does not mean it isn't good. The warmup time and cooldown time on the pellet grill takes much longer so if you find yourself rushing around to make dinner keep this in mind. Slowing down and letting things cook properly on the pellet grill is the key to success. Overall I am happy with the Woodwind and would recommend it without any hesitation. For the record I live in Wyoming and it seems to hold heat pretty well even in January/February when temperatures outside are not exactly warm.
