Ditch the Plastic Shaker Bottles - This Stainless Steel Shaker Crushes!

I own several of these MTN Ops Core Crusher shaker bottles and use one pretty much every day. They are made of insulated stainless steel instead of plastic, which means I'm not ingesting plastic junk and the bottle never gets stained like plastic shaker bottles.

The first thing I like about it, beyond the stainless steel construction, is its size. You can mix up to 20oz in this thing. For my pre-run mix (of MTN Ops Yeti and Creatine), I generally mix about 16oz of water. So, the 20oz size gives me plenty of room to shake things up with the 16oz of water.

I also appreciate the stamped fluid levels inside the Core Crusher which makes it easy to be consistent filling this thing up. The white plastic variety shakers always have those difficult-to-read fluid level lines on the outside where you have to hold up the shaker to the light to see what's what. But not the Core Crusher. Of course, it also comes with the stainless wire mixing ball.

The lid also has a few thoughtful design elements, starting with the see-thru panels on the top....

...a locking mechanism, which is helpful when transporting or shaking (remember - always keep your finger on the top of the lid when shaking. My wife found out the hard way the other day and ended up spending a while cleaning up the kitchen!)....

...and a wide-enough opening for thick protein shakes and whatever else you mix up in this thing.

Overall, the MTN Ops Core Crusher is the best shaker bottle I've used and I highly recommend. I usually rinse this out after use with fresh water and it's good to go for the next day. You can also toss it into the dishwasher every few days, and it's durable with the stainless steel, so I take it with me traveling wherever I go.
