The Nemo Kodiak is sturdy but narrow. It will keep you warm and dry but you have purchase more stakes to get it properly set. I used this on a spring black bear hunt on the the Kenai peninsula and unexpectedly got 50 mph sustained winds with gusts of up to 70 mph. This tent was the last one that held in our group and the only reason this tent broke is because I did not properly fit it out with the correct stakes for the soil I was in and get all the guy's set. A couple of guy loops actually broke along with the aluminum framing poles because the entire tent was being held by a single stake and guy that had been properly inset and was being battered against the ground by the intense wind.
Nemo's warranty however was fantastic and easy to work with. I was able to ship it out and it was quickly returned to working condition. While it's not a hilleberg it is a good budget option for a 4 season tent that will get you through nasty weather.
