I guide elk, antelope, and mule deer in Eastern Wyoming and good glass is a must. I am able to use this spotter in tandem with a Phone Skope and cell phone and capture lots of scouting pictures like the bull shown and also able to break down an animal in the field and determine if they are worth pursuing. I like the generous eyebox and large field of view. It is very easy to get my phone into focus quickly. The lowlight gathering ability of this optic is very good and has great clarity to the edge. I have the opportunity to use lots of high end glass and for a rugged scope to throw in your pack and use in the field I would rank it among the best... you can't go wrong with this spotter if you are looking for that mid-power piece of glass that lets you make out that extra detail you can't quite see with your binos.
This scope is also fun to just take on a hike and do a little digiscoping.
