It has the clearest glass that I've seen for a scope in this price range.

I use this as a spotting scope at the range. It is excellent at 100 yards and good at 200 yards. It has some of the clearest glass that I've seen for a scope in this price range, but this has been my experience with most Vortex products.
I did not like the eyepiece that came with the scope as the eye relief was not enough for me. I bought the extended eye relief eye piece to replace it and am now very happy with the scope.
