I'll be completely honest... I loved the redesign but I waited to get these in the tan color when they came out this year. I tried these on at a show and found the perfect fit for me. They run decent on size but I still went a half a size up since my feet do swell after carrying a heavy pack. They do not have the Crispi Ankle Bone Support System but they still offer great ankle support. The goretex materials are the best I've had for any boots. I've had my boots completely underwater and my feet still remained dry. Also, for summer, they are more breathable than other brands. It's a fairly flexible sole but still provides a rigid base when needed. The lacing system to the toe is greatly appreciated for a more personal toe box fit. I've made two modifications to make them my favorite boots - 1. I switched out insoles to make things better for my high arches. 2. I switched out laces. The laces were too long. Also, thinner laces make it better in the ankle hinge to get it a little tighter. Overall, these beat out my old Solomans and Lowas for my top summer backpacking and early season hunting boot. Crispi did good on these!
