I really like this bag. The front full access is really convenient and has some great organizing pockets. I also have a Marshall pack and I would say there are pros to both. They both have a great frame with incredible versatility. The adjustment is second to none. I am 5' 11" and 195lbs with a long torso. The Frame still has room to extend...I am near the end of the waste band (small waste) at a 33-34" waste. My son is at this point 5'6" and about 125 lbs his torso is quite short....yet I am able to shorten the frame enough to fit him too. The waste band will also cinch up enough...it's really quite remarkable! The only thing missing for me on this bag is the waste strap for the top pouch. I have used the one for my Marshall bag quite a bit. This bag does come off of the frame better and easier to utilize the meat shelf, than my earlier model Marshall. The waste padding on these frames is second to none and I have hauled some extreme loads nearing my own body weight without any shoulder or hip sores and next to no shoulder discomfort. There is definitely more room and pockets with the Marshall bag which may be needed for a 10 day hunt... but the Beartooth bag is more convenient to use and would be my choice for 3-7 day excursions. Overall this is a very durable and comfortable pack.
