An awesome little camp stove!

This was my first purchase from Guidefitter, I ordered the Camp Chef Stryker 150 camp stove for a jet boat based river camping/fishing trip trip on the Snake River through Hells Canyon in Idaho. The Stryker 150 is the propane only version, which I wanted in order to have fuel commonality with some other of my outdoor equipment. Carrying one of those little green propane cylinders is a little heavier and bulkier than the fuel cylinders for the butane stoves, but I had no issues. And, I like the idea that if for some reason I run out of propane somewhere, you can buy the little green guys literally anywhere! It's super easy to assemble and ignite, and I now know why these are called "jet stoves" because when you light it off, it sounds like a jet engine! I used this stove to boil water for BRCC coffee steep bags, and for some freeze dried meals. I will never wait for a percolator to make me coffee ever again! This stove will boil 12oz of water in about 1 minute, add about 3 minutes of steep time for the coffee, and you have a steaming hot cup of coffee ready to go even before the Mr. Coffee at home would be done brewing a pot! Up at 0600, coffee ready by 0605? Yes please! It boils water quickly, it cools down quickly when you are done, it packs into itself, and it comes with its own pack sack to put everything in. They only thing I may add would be a collapsible measuring cup for freeze dried meals. My two buddies had coffee press specific jet stoves from other companies and we all agreed that the Camp Chef was more versatile than the other, more expensive stoves in camp. (even thought theirs both came with measuring cups, I used theirs!) This may have been my best purchase for the entire trip!
