Loving this Ladderstand

Hawk 1.5 Sasquatch
Pros:
• Very large and roomy platform.
• It has a HUGE seat that is the most comfortable stand seat I've ever sat in. It feels like you are sitting in a high-end deck chair. It makes you want to go out to your stand just to sit there and take in the view.
• Really like the flip up seat, which gives you a tremendous platform to shoot from.
• The ladder steps/treads are the best and safest I've ever seen. They are a huge improvement on the standard ladderstand step.
• Great powdercoating. Thick and durable.
• I've come to love this stand so much I just bought a second one to replace another older ladderstand.

Cons:
• The Hawk ratchet straps are way too short for this stand. This stand is big, heavy, and needs to be put in a large tree (24 inch diameter or larger). The problem is the straps are for smaller diameter trees. Bring larger straps with you when you install it.
• If it's the first time putting this 1.5 Sasquatch style stand together, plan on spending 2-3 hours assembling it.
• There are 11 different sized bolts in the kit. They all come together in one large bag. And to make things more interesting, they only vary by ¼ inch in length, so you have to measure each bolt to make sure you are putting the correct size in the correct location. This is very time consuming.
• You'll want to place an all-weather 2x6 board under the legs, otherwise over 6 months to a year, the legs of this heavy stand will sink into the ground and cause your stand platform tip forward.
