Wyoming is well known for its turbulent weather, but last season was a tough one. The middle of October brought about 3 feet of snow and negative 15 degree temps for the last two hunts of the regular season and I was lacking on good boots. When I saw the weather report I immediately ordered these boots and received them just in time with a special delivery from town. Not only are they extremely warm they fit like a glove and require very little break in. After about a day of riding and hiking hard after some elk I felt they were molded to my foot. They are great for a horseback guide who needs versatility in and out of the saddle. The pointed tip and hard smooth sole shape feel safe and secure in a stirrup, while the support and stability of the tread make hiking through snow a breeze. They look pretty cool too. Overall great product that I highly recommend to any person putting long winter hours in the saddle.
