As a fishing guide who reliess on sunglasses for multiple reasons, these Smith Guide's Choice Glass ChromaPop check the boxes for every need I have.
First, they have great lens technology. The blue ChromaPop Glass lenses are dark enough to allow for comfortable vision on the brightest days, yet light enough to see through clearly during cloudy or inclement weather.
Second, the frame fits comfortably and wraps the face to allow for full-face range of motion. No more sunglasses going swimming while working over the rail of the boat. The integration of Croakies helps as well to further secure your sunglasses.
Lastly, they are very light in comparison to the competition. Wearing sunglasses everyday can be taxing, and while glass lenses are going to be heavier than their counterparts, I think they are necessary when utilizing them every day. Smith has done an excellent job of creating a well-balanced and lightweight sunglass frame to compliment the glass lenses.
The only con is that they are tight fitting for big-headed individuals at first. After a week's time being worn, though, they fit like a glove. Personally, I prefer a snug fit rather than have them too loose.
