Brought these on a 5-day backpack hunting trip; found out they'll save your hide when you're fading fast in the late morning or early afternoon. Like other Honey Stinger products, these are calorically dense and space efficient. The wrappers are louder than those for their waffles, so they're better for glassing than the blind. The flavor of these wasn't my favorite; there's a funky artificial aftertaste that I can only assume is because they're small bites packing a solid caffeinated punch. Still, they're a great alternative to heavier, bulkier options for caffeine like 5-Hour Energy or options like instant coffee that require boiling water. Pair these with something protein-rich like jerky or a salmon packet and you'll feel 100% again in no time.
