I put the Spitfire 3x on a Ruger 556 MPR. Hunted prairie dogs and coyotes in Montana. Liked how easy it was to sight in. We got to the ranch and it took 4 shots at 50 yards and I was ready to go after some prairie dogs. Shot over 1,000 rounds over the next several days and never had to make any adjustments. I was making shots from 50-350 yards with ease. I could find and move to the next target much faster than my dad could with his expensive Nightforce on his AR-15. I could outshoot all the other guys in my group 3-1 because I just put the red dot on target and pulled the trigger and moved to the next and did it over and over again. They started to say it wasn't fair that I could shoot so many so fast and I had the cheapest setup by no less than $2,000. They had to zoom in and out and focus parallax all them times and I was just stacking dogs. Several in the group had to try my rifle and they were very impressed. They noticed how easy it was to use and find targets at so many different ranges without the need to make any adjustments. The Spitfire is also much smaller and lighter than the larger high power scopes. I like the different brightness levels and choice of red, green, or black. If battery goes out you still have black reticle. The only thing that could be better is the reticle adjustment caps are very fine threads and take patience to screw back on. This seems to be common on most scopes and not a big deal. I turned the caps backwards until threads lined up then turn to right and they would line up perfectly. I highly recommend the Spitfire 3x. I also use this rifle at the duck club I guide at and the guests have a blast shooting targets on the range.
