I mainly hunt the desert southwest where cold and wet are less of a concern to durability, comfort, breathability and weight for long days far from the truck.
I generally prefer a shorter, lighter boot than many hunters. I've previously used well-known brands such as Solomon, Asolo and Lowa among others.
The Crispi Thor is incredibly light, breathes very well and the sole is stiff enough to help with stability in our often rocky, desert hunting conditions.
I specifically wanted to try the Thor on a rugged, rocky, endurance test hunting Barbary sheep in southern New Mexico.
The Thor performed admirably and came out none the worse for wear.
I have generally narrow heels but often have trouble finding boots with a comfortably wide toe box and the Thor fit me like gloves...for my feet.
Highly recommended.
